Motorcyclist Killed Saturday (8/9)

A Connecticut man riding a motorcycle was killed Saturday afternoon about 5:30 according to ND Highway Patrol.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol the 65 year old man is Bruce Jansen from Waterford Connecticut. He rear ended a semi- truck in Ward County. Authorities say Jansen was west on ND Highway 2 when he smashed into the read of a tractor-trailer near highway marker 133.

The driver of the semi was not injured when the motorcycle was going faster than the truck and did not pull over to pass the truck.
