BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Soldiers with the North Dakota National Guard plan to conduct training exercises at a Missouri River recreational area south of Bismarck.

The Guard says the event at Kimball Bottoms will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday and finish about 11:30 a.m. Sunday. The area will be closed to the public during that time.

More than 50 soldiers from the Guard's 1st Battalion, 188th Air Defense Artillery Regiment will be participating in the exercises.

The Missouri River in the area will remain open, but boaters are urged to use caution.
