ND State Fair Kicks off Friday-Exciting Side Shows

The North Dakota State Fair kicks off Friday-and beside all of the concerts and food on a stick, the fair will also feature attractions you should know about, and some of the activities that don't get as much publicity are just as much fun as the big stars in the grandstands.

The fair boast several stages besides the grandstand acts. You will enjoy fast paced progressive, country and 80's based music at Flicker Tail Gardens with "The Great Outdoors". This band is up and coming and will definitely keep you moving while you dance trying not to spill your beer.

Take a spin at Carousel Pub with live music from Beyond Control, this five piece band will  keep you entertained and offer some shade on the hot days at the fair.

Both attractions are free with your paid admission into the fair.

If you love dogs, you'll enjoy the free stage #3 with the Extreme Canine Stunt Show, at 1:30, 4 and 6 pm. These once homeless dogs will show off and have the entire family wanting to add a four legged friend to your family.These dogs are talented and love to show off and do amazing tricks! Be sure to have your camera ready!

The North Dakota State Fair, starts Friday, and will continue through July 27th.
