NDSU Breaks Record For Most TV Viewers

North Dakota States University Bison's win against the number two team in the country James Madison University had a lot more then just South Fargo or Frisco, Texas watching. According to WDAY TV News, this is the first FCS Championship game to be aired on ABC-TV since 1994. NDSU had an average coverage of 2.7 Million viewers, it seems that every year NDSU sure attracks more fans and viewers. How can you not love such a powerhouse that has won 8 national championships in 9 years. Matt Larsen said “Overall pleased with where it ended and hopefully it’s a good enough number that ESPN and ABC would consider having that game on network television again in the future.” The second most viewership for NDSU was in 2016 the FCS quarterfinal game aginst South Dakota State with 1.984 million viewers. The game against South Dakota State was on ESPN which is associated with ABC.
