We may only be five days in to the new year, but so far, 2021 is shaping up to be a good year for North Dakota. Yesterday (January 4), our governor lowered our COVID-19 risk level to "Moderate." And today, we got an update on the opening of a newly relocated Mandan restaurant.
The Rice Bowl is gearing to open its NEW location in Mandan! According to a Facebook post, The Rice Bowl will be open for business on Wednesday (January 6). The restaurant will be open for pick-up, delivery, or dine-in services. Staff will follow COVID-19 guidelines, so there will be limited dine-in capacity at the Rice Bowl.
So, where might you find the new location? While the Rice Bowl is still located in Mandan, they have moved out of the library and over to 107 4th Ave NW. And their hours will be Monday through Thursday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Circling back to my "2021 shaping up to be a good year" comment, there are kind of a lot of new eateries we can anticipate in Bismarck and Mandan this year - which is exciting! We are waiting to hear about the opening date for Chick-fil-A, Blaze Pizza is coming to town, and we are getting another Five Guys. And we can't forget about the new local bar and restaurant, Jimmy V's! Am I missing any new places coming to town this year?
Which restaurant openings are you most excited for in 2021?
