North Dakota DOT Finalizes 4-Year Improvement Plan

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota's Transportation Department has finalized a statewide transportation improvement program for the next four years.

The improvements include state and county highways, urban streets, roadway safety features, bikeways and busing programs. They're being funded with federal highway and transit funds.

Details of the 2015-18 program are available on the department's website, at http://www.dot.nd.gov . Copies also can be obtained from the department's programming division or viewed at district offices.

The department also is requesting public comments as it prepares the next program. Comments will be accepted until Jan. 12.
