North Dakota Ice Fishermen Reminded of Fish Hut Regulations

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota's Game and Fish Department is reminding winter anglers that fish houses left unoccupied on state waters must be made of materials that enable them to float.

Officials say the float rule applies to campers used as fish houses. If a camper doesn't float, it needs to be removed when the angler leaves the ice.

Unoccupied fish houses left on the ice also must have the owner's name and either address or telephone number displayed on the outside in characters at least 3 inches high.
