BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Petroleum Council says it's hosting more than 40 teachers from across the state for an annual oil seminar for educators.

The seminar is scheduled Monday through Thursday in Bismarck.

Organizers say the seminar provides educators an opportunity to learn about North Dakota's oil and gas industry. Teachers are slated to tour a drill rig, well sites and the state's sole oil refinery in Mandan.

The North Dakota Petroleum Council has been hosting the seminar for more than 30 years.
