North Dakota Plans Pub lic Hearings On Proposed Pipeline

STANLEY, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota regulators have slated a public hearing in Stanley on a proposed $18 million crude oil pipeline in Mountrail County.

The North Dakota Public Service Commission will take testimony Jan. 12 on Sacagawea Pipeline Co.'s permit application for the new 8-mile long, 12-inch diameter crude oil pipeline and associated facilities.

The pipeline would transport oil from the Palermo Rail Facility owned by Phillips 66 to the Enbridge oil terminal in Stanley. The pipeline will have a maximum capacity of 100,000 barrels per day.

The hearing begins at 10 a.m. at the Mountrail County South Complex in Stanley.
