One Killed in Early Morning Single Vehicle Accident

North Dakota State Police report one man dead in a single vehicle accident early Thursday morning.

The accident happen on state Highway 200, just west of Killdeer.

The 48 year old driver was alone in his truck when it left the highway and hit a tree. The accident happen around 2:00 AM.

The driver was wearing his safety belt. He was pronounced dead at the accident. His name has yet to be released.

The roadway was closed for a while. State Police continue to investigate the accident.
