One-Year-Old Killed By Pickup Near Stanley

STANLEY, N.D. (AP) — The Highway Patrol says no charges are being filed against a rural Stanley woman who struck and killed a 1-year-old girl with her pickup.

Authorities say the woman was backing out of a driveway at a private residence southeast of Stanley on Monday afternoon when the pickup struck the girl. She was taken to a Stanley hospital, where she later died.

The patrol did not identify the girl.
