Open House in Bismarck at The National Weather Service Saturday

The National Weather Serviced opened it's doors today for the general public to visit for a free tour complete with snacks and various displays.

The radio stations at Townsquare Media use the forecasts provided by the NWS on a daily basis. This behind the scenes look was an eye opener for me as it was very interesting to see how and where we get our weather forecasts and special weather statements and warnings.
