OSHA Investigates Welder’s Death in Williston
WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) — The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the death of a welder in Williston.
The Williston Herald reports 28-year-old Dustin Payne, of Hazel Green, Alabama, worked as a welder for Nabors Completion and Production Services. He was injured in an Oct. 3 explosion and flown to a Minot hospital, and later died.
Williston is the hub of the bustling North Dakota oil patch, which has drawn workers from across the country.
