Get to know Parmalee, one of the opening acts for Jake Owen's Days of Gold Tour, in Bismarck. Brothers Matt and Scott Thomas are from Greenville, NC and come from a family of music. As kids they would watch their father Jerry perform as the front man for a Southern Rock Blues Band. They have not had an easy road becoming a one of Nashville's hottest new groups. According to their webpage  "The near-fatal robbery Parmalee experienced after a show would have destroyed most bands. But brothers Matt and Scott Thomas, cousin Barry Knox and longtime friend Josh McSwain didn’t call it quits. Instead it reinforced their intense motivation and dedication to one another and to their determination to succeed."
