Soccer Fans Rejoice! Pro Team Could Be in Minneapolis, MN

Believe it or not, the sport of soccer has grown in popularity especially with today's youth!  Rumor has it, a pro team is close to making it official, calling Minneapolis as the new home for a MLS franchise.

And why not? Minneapolis is a great sports city with Twins, The Wolves and Vikings! According to sources, Minneapolis has pulled far ahead in the race for a new Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise.

American Soccer Now posted the brass of MLS-

 “love the idea of another team in the upper Midwest,” and that Minnesota is attractive because it’s a “big market” with plenty of corporate giants around to support a team.

It seems that MSP is in a "near lock" for one of the teams planned during the expansion of the league by 2020 to a total of 24 teams.

Other metros in the running include Miami, Sacramento along with MSP.

What would be a good name for the pro soccer team if MSP would get the award for one of the expansion teams?
