It may still be icy cold in Nashville, but that’s not stopping Sports Illustrated from celebrating like it’s summertime.

On Feb. 11 and 12, the sports magazine is hosting a celebration in honor of its upcoming 2015 swimsuit issue. The festivities will include free concerts and a temporary village located on Lower Broadway.

Kings of Leon will kick off the event with a concert at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Feb. 11 at 7PM ET. The performance will be streamed live, so that out-of-towners can enjoy the show. While there are several other rock acts, such as Moon Taxi and the Weeks, there will be no shortage of country music acts at this Music City celebration.

Country stars Chris Young, Will Hoge, Nikki Lane and Rayland Baxter have all been tapped to perform. “I always read the SI swimsuit issue as a teen -- I loved the articles,” Hoge informs Rolling Stone Country with a grin. “I’m excited about paying tribute to those articles that meant so much to me growing up.”

Young agrees. “I’m a sports fan. I’m a Sports Illustrated fan. I’m a Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue fan too,” he adds. “Let’s just say it is going to be a blast playing in Nashville next week.”

The celebration will also feature two up-and-coming acts: country/bluegrass performer Chris Stapleton and Southern rock/country group A Thousand Horses. The concerts are free of charge and open to the public.
