ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Prosecutors in Michigan are seeking a five-year prison sentence for a Canadian man who says he smuggled more than 1,000 turtles to China to help pay for his college education.

Chalk this up from the believe it or not file. But it's a true deal. A Canadian man is now banned from owning turtles after he tried to smuggle a bunch of them in his pants!
