The Boot News Roundup: Country Stars Booked for Summertime TV Concerts + More

Kelsea Ballerini is part of Good Morning America's 2018 Summer Concert Series lineup. The annual slate of televised performances will begin on May 15, with a set from Liam Payne and J Balvin; Ballerini will appear on Aug. 3, performing in front of fans at New York City's Central Park. The star tweeted about the forthcoming appearance, saying that she's "SOO excited" to be a part of this year's lineup.
Also in televised concert news, Darius Rucker, Kelly Clarkson and more country artists are part of Today's 2018 Citi Concert Series lineup. Rucker will perform on May 25, with Clarkson following on June 8. Dierks Bentley is set to appear on June 12, Dan + Shay will play on June 25, Lady Antebellum will hit the stage on July 6, Keith Urban will perform on Aug. 2 and Cole Swindell will round out the list of this year's country performers on Aug. 17.
Country stars will be all over primetime television this summer: Kellie Pickler has announced that she will be a celebrity guest on ABC's revamp of the classic game show The $100,000 Pyramid, premiering on June 10. Brad Paisley will also be part of a vintage game show on ABC: He's joining Jimmy Kimmel, Dana Carvey, Ken Jeong and more celebrities as a guest judge on The Gong Show, which will premiere on June 21.
Congratulations are in order for singer and former American Idol contestant Kristy Lee Cook, who recently gave birth to her first child! Cook, who appeared on the TV singing competition's seventh season, announced the birth of Tillman Daniel Orr in a video on Instagram in mid-April. Baby Tillman is Cook's first child with her partner, Lee Orr. “I never liked kids growing up nor did I ever want any," Cook writes in an emotional post. "I never even held my siblings' kids, with all odds stacked AGAINST us, and a 1 percent chance of actually having a baby, God had different plans."
The Brothers Osborne are headed to the United Kingdom this fall. The Osbornes are currently overseas for some UK dates (until May 13) and will go back for another run of concert dates in November and December. Brothers Osborne's UK trek kicks off on Nov. 25 with a performance at Glasgow, Scotland's O2 Academy, and includes shows in, among other locations, Newcastle, Nottingham and Manchester, England.
