The Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation To Start This Week In ND

According to the Job Service North Dakota Facebook page, this week the additional $600 a week payment should start from FPUC Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation. According to the page, if you've already been paid from unemployment the FPUC payment will come seperately and will be retroactive. This payment will be in addition to regular weekly unemployment benefits, and should come on the same day. The FPUC is also a taxable income.

I think this is great to help those in need. Many people are without work and need extra income and their weekly unemployment benefits aren't enough to cover all their expenses. It's great that we live in a community that comes together and we are all in this together. We all need to do our part and we will all get through this. These times are out of the ordinary, but hopefully the end is near. Most everyone is ready for things to go back to normal and for businesses to open back up.
