The Nation's Favorite Beer Is Revealed!

It's a busy month for beer drinking! As if you needed a reason to throw a couple of brews down, of course not!

We have the Superbowl, Mardi Gras, Valentines Day and let's not forget, Groundhog Day coming up, you have more reasons to drink beer!

24/7 Wall St released the nations top beers. Now, you maybe thinking that "The King Of Beers" is at the top of the list. You'd be wrong. According to the latest figures Anheuser-Busch shipped about 16 million barrels of Bud in 2013, that is nearly a 50% drop in the last 10 years.

So what could folks be guzzling down these days?

#5 is PBR, Yes, you read right. The once cheap buzz is now hip and cool! Pabst Blue Ribbon has gone from redneck to very cool in recent years.

#4 Blue Moon, Yes sir, Blue Moon! This brew is produced by MillerCoors, so it’s not really small these days. In recent years, the sales have jumped 88 percent, and that equates to just over 2 million barrels of the brew in 2013.

#3 The cool brew for Budweiser these days would be Stella Artois. The report shows this brew has nearly doubled in five years, up 95 percent.

#2 Modelo Especial is a brew I can't pronounce, but sales have more than doubled, up 107 percent in the last five years.

#1 Dos Equis is the top brew! Dos is the fastest growing brew in the country with shipments up 116% in the last five years! Much of the credit goes to an outstanding and creative marketing campaign. The Most Interesting Man in the World has won beer drinkers over.

Surprised? I would think so. I thought Bud or Bud Light would be in the mix.

Apparently, "A stunning 44 percent of people aged 21 to 27 have apparently never sipped an ice cold Bud."
