Truck Spills Corn Syrup on Interstate Near Valley City

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) — A tanker truck hauling corn syrup on Interstate 94 left a mess when it sprung a leak near Valley City.

The Highway Patrol says the stainless steel tank cracked, causing syrup to spill along the roadway on Sunday

KFGO radio reports fire crews spent several hours hosing down the pavement to get rid of the sticky material.
