The Shark Tank TV show has been around since 2009. After six years, they found a gem in the far away fields of North Dakota.  OK, not so dramatic- it was a cross-fit concept from Fargo metro. It was a cross-fit concept from Fargo, that caught a bite in the Shark Tank!

Yay!

So North Dakota's PRX Performance, caught the investment interests of one of the "Sharks" back in 2015.  Out of a reported 700 pitches, this Fargo company made it to the official pitch episode and got judge Kevin O'Leary to take the bait and make the investment.

An investment that still looks pretty good today PRX Performance.

Perhaps the pandemic sent a little success to these personal gym products. Not like they needed it.  Check this headline from AP News...

Wall-Mounted Squat Rack Company in Fargo Claims 789th Spot on Inc. 5000 List

What a minute that's a 2020 headline?

For the third year running, PRx Performance has made it on Inc. magazine’s annual Inc. 5000 list as one of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The Fargo-based home gym equipment company, known for its wall-mounted squat racks, first garnered attention on ABC’s Shark Tank in 2016 and has been disrupting the fitness industry ever since.

Here's a link to their Shark Tank Story and here's a link to what seems to be a fully stocked industrial business web outlet.

Damn, seems like the fellas are targeting their customers perfectly and we wish them continued success in the future!

So here's the story of a Minnesota woman- who, while sitting at a diner, realized her friends kids had no direction to entertain themselves while the adults yakked at the table. I remember that problem being out with my folks. ..and I was in my teens!

So, I bet even then as a teen I would have appreciated Oronoco Minnesota's Beth Flynbo's Shark Tank entry the "Busy Baby".

“The babies spent the entire time dropping and throwing and reaching for the salt and pepper,” she recalled.

From there, her idea for a placemat that suctions to tables and attaches to toys was born.

Four years later, her company has fulfilled tens of thousands of orders all across the world.

Here's the YouTube video

It didn't make the cut on Shark Tank but Beth and her brother continue to make their dreams come true,  Hopefully.  It seems pretty darn practical for a lot of uses.  Kids right?
