WalletHub released their annual list of the 'Happiest Cities in America' and North Dakota had not one, but two cities in the top twenty on that list.

Based on previous years' lists of the happiest cities in the country, it really isn't a surprise as both Bismarck and Fargo have become staples amongst the happiest cities in the country. This year, Bismarck finished as the 11th happiest city in the country. Fargo, once again, cracked the top 10 for the 6th happiest city in America.

The study included 182 of the largest cities in the U.S. and used three key determining factors weighed across 31 relevant metrics. The three key determining factors were: emotional and physical well-being, income and employment, and community and environment. Bismarck ranked 4th overall in the country when it comes to income and employment. Fargo also finished with the 4th highest-adequate sleep rate, which helps their overall emotional and physical well-being.

So if you're in one of those cities in North Dakota, there's a good chance you're pretty happy. Or if you're not, maybe you just hate life. Either way, you're in a pretty good spot.

Plano, TX finished as the happiest city in America. For the entire list, you can view a map of what cities are some of the happiest in the nation here:
