Veteran's Day is coming up on Monday and those of us in North Dakota have a long tradition of respect, admiration and appreciation for our military members.  In fact, North Dakota actually is the Number 1 state, per capita, for military service.  We have a higher percentage of people in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard and Reserves than any other state when you factor in our population.  That's why this following story caught my eye for today's "FEEL GOOD FEATURE":

Vietnam Vet Retiring Because Boss Is Paying Off His Mortgage: CBS claims a 69 year-old Vietnam veteran from San Antonio is retiring because his boss at Renown Auto Restoration is paying off the last $5,000 of his mortgage. Albert Brigas has worked as a mechanic at the shop since 2006. He will now be able to retire without a mortgage payment. Albert plans to spend time with his grandchildren in retirement.

Have you or do you know someone who has gone above and beyond to help out our veterans?  Don't forget to thank our service members.
