One of the great games of week 2 ended in a very weird way.

There were all types of storylines in this one. Treadway letting the Vikings down, Cousins choking, Cousins redemption, Cousins the great!

The only storyline that matters though is Carlson the kicker channeling his inner Blair Walsh by missing a chip shot field goal in overtime to win.

Sure it's good not to lose to the Packers especially after coming back in the 4th quarter on the road. It would've been better to get the win though.

According to Kirk Cousins:

“I learned a lot about my teammates today and the character of our football team. I think Coach Flip called an amazing game.” -@KirkCousins8 reflecting on today's tie game

It was an amazing game. One that could've been a springboard to a great season. The Vikings did show resiliency and Cousin's showed why the Vikings gave him all that money.

I just wish it didn't end in a tie though.

Here's what the players had to say.

WR Laquon Treadwell

TE David Morgan

K Daniel Carlson

DT Linval Joseph

On to the Bills!
