It's no secret that North Dakota isn't exactly the sexiest state for tourists, but could the Wall Street Journal have possibly made this video any more depressing?

The video is entitled 'North Dakota: Last Stop For Tourists' and it basically describes why tourists save the Roughrider State for last when attempting to visit all fifty states.

Shot almost entirely inside the Fargo-Moorhead Visitor's Center, the video focuses on the fact that North Dakota is attempting to embrace its status as the least desirable state to travel to.

The Wall Street Journal was able to wrangle a few tourists and ask why they saved North Dakota for last. Here's what they had to say:

I hate to say it, but there wasn't anything in particular drawing me up here.

It's kinda weird. You figure maybe Hawaii or Alaska would be the 50th state, but North Dakota is tough to get to. It's kinda sad, but that's just the way it is.

I guess I feel kinda sad for them that this is the last one. I guess because it's so far north, there's no Disney World here, you just hear mostly farmland and flat and desolate.

Thanks, Wall Street Journal. Completely disregard the Badlands, the Missouri River, and any number of other things that make North Dakota a travel destination. I'm sure your video from inside the visitor's center will have people rushing to North Dakota! (Note: That statement is layered in sarcasm.)

But, hey, if you save North Dakota for last, you get a free t-shirt!
