As the Covid 19 pandemic has spread across the country, many things in our lives have been disrupted.  For most of us in the Bismarck, Mandan and North Dakota in general have been fairly fortunate.  By comparison to the rest of the country, our daily lives haven't experienced to much upheaval.

We can still eat from most of our favorite restaurants, we can go to the liquor store, gas stations are still open, grocery stores are open and have most of the items that the rest of the country has experienced shortages of, we can shop at Walmart or Target or online at Amazon.

All in all we've been pretty fortunate, but on Friday, you may experience some delays at Walmart, Target and Amazon.com.  Workers are planning to strike. They want to call attention to the inadequate health and safety standards they are encountering at work during the coronavirus pandemic.  Other National chain store and big box store employees may also be joining in on the boycott.

I have to admit, my curiosity is peaked, or it may just be the boredom from quarantining, but I plan on visiting those stores to see if anything is happening in Bismarck and Mandan.  If you see me, feel free to say hello from 6' away or slap me an Air High Five...I'll be the one in the mask!
