What Place Do You Miss In Bisman That Is Gone?

What place do you miss that Bismarck used to have? Many people like to take a walk down memory lane and remember what Bismarck used to have and want the places to come back. One of my favorite places that Bismarck doesn't have anymore was the North Snoopers Ton Of Fun. My favorite restaurant that Bismarck used to have was either the North American Steak Buffet or Bonanza. They were both buffets.

My parents used to like going to the Gourmet House and have also talked about how much fun Wheel-A-While was. Wheel-A-While was an indoor roller skating arena that was in Bismarck. Many people miss a lot of these great places but when one place closes another one opens.

The place that I as a kid always enjoyed going to was the pet store in the Gateway Mall. It was a really cool pet store and was always a fun time to go there. My parents would be down shopping at Sears. They had a lot of different animals to check out and was a fun time for kids.

Bismarck-Mandan has seen a lot of change over the last 15-20 years with many places leaving, changing businesses or buildings being knocked down. We have also seen the Bismarck Mandan area expand a lot over the last ten years. What place do you miss the most that Bismarck or Mandan used to have? How sad were you to see it go?
