WIND ADVISORY in Effect for Bismarck and Surrounding Counties

The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a WIND ADVISORY in effect for Bismarck and surrounding towns and counties.

The counties under the influence of the wind advisory include-

• Burleigh
• Morton
• Oliver
• Mclean
• Sioux
• Wells
• Kidder
• Grant
• Emmons
• Logan

These areas can expect winds of 30 mph with gusts of over 40 mph. This will effect drivers with high profile vehicles in open areas such as the interstate, workers who work on buildings off the ground such as roofers and construction personnel.

The wind advisory is in effect until 5 p.m. (CST) Sunday, October 16th.
