Big changes are predicted for the Bismarck-Mandan Area as a cold front that will produce an anticipated 6 inches of snow to some of the listening area, but will also drop the temperatures, with over night lows at MINUS 30 degree's for some of the counties in the southern portion of North Dakota.

Here are the details on the upcoming storm according to the National Weather Service in Bismarck;

UPDATE 1:41 P.M. (CST) winter storm warning for western and central North Dakota through Wednesday...
snow will continue  through Wednesday. snow will develop after sunset...then spread east over south central and southeast after midnight. Snow will continue over west and central North Dakota Tuesday. Wind gusts up to 30 mph will develop Tuesday,creating areas of blowing and drifting snow.
Snow and blowing snow will continue through Tuesday night, slowly taper off through late Wednesday. Snowfall totals will vary from between 6-12 inches. Travel will be impacted.
