Woman Bites off Tongue of Boyfriend on Valentine Day!

This takes the cake, or the tongue in this case. After returning from a Valentine dinner with her boyfriend, Elaine Cook from Skokie, IL apparently got into a dispute with here boyfriend. The event escalated when the boyfriend was asked to leave. He told her they shouldn't fight and kissed her good bye when she bit a large portion of his tongue completely off. He started to bleed and ran into the bathroom, where she followed and threw the tongue at the bleeding man.

The boyfriend was rushed to Evanston Hospital, but doctors could not reattach the tongue because of inadequate blood supply,  according to the local newspaper.

In the days following the maiming, the 47-year-old boyfriend, who asked not to be identified, said he was in a lot of pain.

“Obviously, talking is not the best thing to do right now,” the man told the Sun-Times. “[But] at least I can talk. It’s just sad. The whole thing."

Charges are pending.
