WATFORD CITY, N.D. (AP) — An Idaho woman accused of shooting a man in the face in Watford City has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and drug charges.

Twenty-one-year-old Kimberly Pomeroy is accused of shooting 27-year-old Pacer Coleman, of Alvarado, Texas, at a motel in November. KXMC-TV reports she entered her pleas on Thursday.

Court documents indicate Pomeroy's trial is scheduled to begin May 11. She could face up to 50 years in prison if convicted.

KXMC reports that another person charged in the shooting has been sentenced to 1 ½ years behind bars. Kevin Kelly pleaded guilty to felony tampering, hindering and drug charges.
