Dentist Mistaken For Lion Hunter Harassed

JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin dentist with a name similar to the Minnesota man in hiding after killing a beloved lion in Zimbabwe says he's being harassed online and by phone.

Dr. Matt Palmer in Janesville says he's had to change his phone number because of the harassing calls that began in the middle of the night last week. Walter Palmer is the Eden Prairie dentist accused of killing Cecil the lion, causing an international uproar over the animal's death.

Matt Palmer says people are quick to judge, even though they may have misinformation. He tells WISC-TV before you click 'send' make sure you know what you're doing and how that could impact someone's life.
