Confusing, too many gimmicks, and underwhelming, NBC's game show Million Second Quiz turns out to be a million second flop! Just because you place Ryan Seacrest on a milk carton does not mean that it'll sell. The same is true for Million Second Quiz.

This was supposed to rival Who Wants to Be a Millionaire as "big-event" TV. But let's face it, Regis is not the host and this game is just boring and about as exciting as watching paint dry.

In terms of ratings, Teflon Seacrest and the network had a modest 6.5 million viewers and has slipped to 2.9 million viewers this week. OUCH!

At this point even NBC suits conceded that the show's confusing format, technical glitches and lack of drama didn't help. Of course, NBC is looking for the silver lining and they concluded that NBC learned much from a joint marketing effort that involved many parts of the company. You can Laugh now!
