Minnesota Vikings Jared Allen Leaves for Chicago Bears

Probably tired of fighting and spending time with a losing team, the beloved Jared Allen signs a 4 year deal with the Chicago Bears this morning.

Allen spent the last six years chasing down Chicago quarterbacks as a member of the Minnesota Vikings.  Allen always finished his games with many sacks and attacks on the quarterbacks from the opposing teams. He was a leader in sacks in the NFL. He led the NFL in sacks in 2007 and 2011.

This comes as a big disappointment to Viking fans as Allen was a hometown favorite.

According to reports from CBS Sports the deal is worth  $32 million, although the final year can be voided. $15.5 million is guaranteed.
