A New Home for the North Dakota Governor ?

A bill was introduced yesterday for the construction of a new governor's residence. Even the Governor said it was not necessary for a new facility. The current residence was built in 1960 for a total cost of $201,000 and has over 10,000 square feet including garage and basement.

I have to say, I passed in front of this residence and I had no idea this was the governor's residence. It just looked like a normal house and I don't say that to be sarcastic, it looks like a plain house and is certainly not a Mansion. What do you think, should we build a new residence for the Governor and his family?
