NO TRAVEL ADVISORY- East of Bismarck-Mandan- Updated 8:00 CST
According to the NDDOT;
The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) has extended the No Travel Advisory to include Fargo and surrounding areas including the cities of Fargo, Casselton, Mayville, Hillsboro and surrounding areas due to blowing snow causing zero visibility.
A No Travel Advisory is still in effect for portions of northeast North Dakota including the cities of Devils Lake, Rolla, Langdon, Grand Forks, Michigan, Drayton, Cavalier and Pembina due to blowing snow causing zero visibility. Plows have been pulled and will resume operations when it is safe to do so.
A Travel Alert is still in effect for, Wahpeton and surrounding areas due to high winds causing blowing snow to stick to the roadway creating areas of scattered ice. Conditions are such that motorists can still travel in these areas, but should be advised that conditions could change rapidly. Motorists are encouraged to reduce speeds and drive according to the conditions.
