BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Gov. Jack Dalrymple will deliver his third State of the State address to state lawmakers and the public next week.

The event begins Jan. 6 at 1 p.m. in the House chamber of the state Capitol.

Dalrymple spokesman Jeff Zent says the governor will focus on the state's "achievements, challenges and opportunities."

Dalrymple gave his first State of the State address in 2011, after serving for a decade as the state's lieutenant governor.

The governor's address will be streamed live over the Internet at www.governor.nd.gov .
