Severe Thunderstorm Watch For Bismarck-Mandan Until 10 PM CST

The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Bismarck-Mandan area and surrounding counties until 10 PM CST.

The watch area includes Morton, Burleigh, Emmons, Grant, McLean, Mercer, Oliver and Ward counties- including the cities of Bismarck, Mandan, Ashley, Beulah, Fort Yates, Jamestown and Hazen.

These storms can produce locally heavy rainfall in a short period of time, winds in excess of 50 MPH, produce dangerous lighting and hail is possible with these storms.
