Daytona Beach is crazy right now. Not only the long 4th of July weekend has the beach full of visitors and beach goers, the annual Coke Zero 400 is on tap for the Daytona Speedway.

The poll results are in, and this could be surprising to many!  Scoring the pole position for the 6:30 PM start time is David Gilliland from Front Row Motorsports. According to his team, Gilliland's top speed was hectic in qualifying at 199.322 miles per hour checking him his third Sprint Cup pole and his first since scoring the top spot for the Daytona 500 in 2007.

The rest of the field looks like this ,Reed Sorenson qualified second, followed by Landon Cassill, Bobby Labonte, and Jimmie Johnson. Daytona 500 winner Dale Earnhardt Jr., who will attempt to become the sixth driver to sweep both annual races at NASCAR’s most famous track Saturday, was seventh.

**UPDATE- July 5th, 8:25PM (CST)** Rain and thunderstorms postponed the Coke Zero 400 race. NASCAR has a start time of 12 Noon CST, and 1033 US COUNTRY will air the race live in it's entirety.
