WIND CHILL ADVISORY – More Sub-Zero Temperatures Expected for Bismarck-Mandan
The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a WIND CHILL ADVISORY as winds are expected to gusts up to 20 MPH, combined with very cold temperatures, wind chill values can drop to 30-35 below zero.
Timing of the advisory is in effect from 6PM Thursday through 12 Noon (CST) Friday. The NWS advises to take the necessary precautions if working outdoors as frost bite can take place on exposed skin in less than 30 minutes in windy and cold weather that the area will experience.
Friday morning, wind chill values will be 30-35 below zero.
